Liverpool v Milan : Champion's League 07

Considering fifty gabillion people are apparently watching this, i thought i'd make a thread. Pretty dull match so far to be honest. The only goal was a fluke, and Liverpool are simply irritating me with their incredible ability to miss open goals.

 Alonso needs to get the heck off that pitch. He's dont nothing but miss sitters and give away free kicks.

Crouch in particular. I understood him being off for the first half; saving him for the second. But there's like 20 minutes left. Get him on the freakin' pitch already.

Well that's what  i call a disappointment. Milan didn't deserve to win, but neither did Liverpool. It was seriously as if they just didn't give a crap. The second goal in particular, the entire defense stood still and just let him past. One even turned his back and started walking in the other direction as soon as he was through; couldn't even be bothered to at least TRY and get the ball back.

And the one player who actually gave half a crap and tried to play, was brought on 15 minutes before the end of the match. Clever.  Hopefully this at least proves my opinion that Alonso isn't worth the air he breathes.

All Liverpool managed was an offside goal. Pretty boring final though thanks to Milan.Mudig

Had they not screwed up at every single turn, that match would've been 4-1. Sadly, they screwed up at every turn. 

The second goal was a good goal, great movement by Inzaghi and a brilliant slid through pass by Kaka, decent finish aswell.

Not much energy from the players in the second half. Milan was wasting time but Liverpool should have gone crazy looking for goals. Idonomeus

That was exactly it. It was honestly as if they thought "man, one goal down, there's no WAY we can win, so let's not bother trying."

Though he was a complete moron, and to this very day it amazes me how they manage to pick such awful referees for such important matches, it must be said that Liverpool were robbed by themselves. They could have won; should have won. But they didn't. Mostly down to their own doing.
