In one of the biggest flubs this guy will ever make on-air, he says "President Obama is dead" when he means Osama Bin Laden is dead. Good career move.

I was going to come here to say lots of people have made that mistake. But he said "President Obama". That's pretty bad.

I could see it as just a garden-variety slip of the tongue if he had just said "Obama is dead", but the fact that he even titled the name with "president" makes this an awfully epic fail. :lol:

I noticed yesterday on CNN everyone, including Blitzer, was referring to the past WTC attacks as taking place "September 11, 2011..."

Kinda funny but really coming right after Obama's speech I think his mind was thinking "President Obama announcing Osama Bin Laden is Dead" and for some reason it just shortened out to "President Obama is dead" which is still damn funny and I kind of feel sorry for the guy but hey, that's what local news is all about...learning the ropes.
