It goes without saying, but I'm sure everybody knows that without the word "Terminator" this movie would be a B-action flick that barely gets any box office receipts at all. This was the first movie in my entire life that I ever walked out of :) . I stayed the first hour and got to the part where
John Reese and the sidekick (who oh is a black might that induce racial criticism?) are stuck in the cage, and Marcus Flint rescues the very unattractive lady from a bunch of humans who seem to be evil in the midst of a war
and then I just up and left.
Granted, I had somewhere to be and I thought that I'll just maybe watch it at a friend's house three months from now, so no biggie. Makes you realize that Terminator 3 wasn't all that bad huh? And heck even X-men: the overrated Wolverine files was better (granted, I haven't seen Wolverine either, but I actually don't go to the theater in my country, for I'm very against their policy)
Sure, I could list all the problems with the movie, but there's no point since I just don't like these alleged "popcorn movies" or whatever, I actually want an "epic" film like Gladiator, or There Will Be Blood, or just movies that aren't silly because I've kind of outgrown them really.
I'll say this though, the characters are kind of attractive. The guy playing Reese is quite cute and the Marcus guy is also all burly and muscular and appealing. Wait, wasn't there a Marcus in that Gears of War game for the 360? Any similarities for those who have played the games? hmm...
