Penny is gonna die some time during next season. Benjamin told Mr. Widmore that since he (technically his men) killed his daughter, that he was gonna kill Widmore's daughter. Then again, Desmond will probably try and stop Benjamin from killing Penny, and end up dying himself. It's all a big tangled web. I don't even know what to think anymore.big_old_tom

I vaguely remember from earlier this season, that Des "time-travels" ahead several years and shows up un Penny's doorstep. I would think that this would indicate good things for the couple. Or do you think that this is a red-herring?

ouch that sucks. TC should have put a spoiler alert on there. at least he didn't say anything about ben blowing up the ship and killing everyone on it or how john and ben moved the island. that would have sucked to find that out without seeing the episode.

that was a flashback. he was going back and forth between his past, and the present. He went back to Penny's and told her that she needed to answer the phone on Christmas eve 2005, or something like that..

I think you're right... for some reason, I though it was a flash-forward. My chronology gets messed up sometimes... plus I think I drink too much... or have the brain damage... or get hit in the head too often... things elude me from time to time
