Love triangles, how do you deal with them?

Recently I've been the subject of two love triangles, i'm still kinda in one right now, it's weird, it's like I like the girl and the other guy likes the girl and we both know this but we don't say anything about it. What really upsets me is when the other guy that's supposed to be your friend, puts you down to get points with the girl. I think the best thing to do is to turn the triangle into a square by getting interested in another girl if you can't do that just be cool about it. Have you ever experienced something like this, what do you to in this type of situation?

Never been in that situation. Personally I'd probably make my feelings known to the girl, if they were worth exposing, back off for a little bit and see what happens. No point in stressing over it if she's not interested in you OR him.

Be the first one to ask her out.

This reminds me of the time I was stuck in a love triangle with a woman and a man. We both loved her but, given that "sharing is caring" is thrown out the window in love, we both tried to win her heart.

Days passed, weeks passed, and no real progress was made. Fighting over spending time with her, trying to one-up each other in giving gifts to her when a holiday rolled around, and even physical altercations had certainly taken their toll on the entire debacle of a three-way relationship. Eventually, we all knew that something had to be done before we all would be at each other's throats with steak knives.

So I ran off with the man and we spent sweet, passionate time together.

And then I broke up with him.

You can't help who you have feelings for, but if it might affect other relationships you can choose to act on them with more tact than simply trying to get in before smeone else has a chance. But that's just me. I don't try very hard with girls anyway.

Either eliminate the opposition or stop wasting your time with the situation.

Just focus on your own game instead of always trying to outplay the other guy.. If you are dating a woman that is above 8, there will always be some other guys who will try to compete with you.. That's unavoidable, just ignore them and don't be bothered by it.. Show some air of confidence.. Know the girl well and work from there..
