Low class/Poor people are stupid?

I think so. Everytime I get service from Wendy's Burger King, Taco Bell they get an attitude when they screw up the order. Today this women had an attitude because she couldn't get the order down right. I've noticed that older people who work at minimum or near minimum wage or pretty braindead.

Society has it set up that only the strong survive and go to the top. You have to be smart if you want to be rich.

So what do you think? Do you think poor people are dumb?

I didn't say middle class everything below that. Older people who are still Janitors, garbage men, fast food servers, Bottom of the barrel.

No, they aren't. I was born to a poor family, in terms of economical status, and I'm on the lower bracket of the economicstatus, always have been and likely always will be.
But just becauseit's a struggle to live doesn't mean I give up on my longing to learn and improve, it's more challenging to try and be more than people think you are due to disability and being poor, but it can be rewarding when the efforts yield results.

Aye there's a lot of people where I live who are poor as well or have more money, but the majority of them are actualidiots who all fall for peer pressure and be the same as one another.

Try living on next to nothing all your life and you might end up developing a bit of an attitude as well when you're constantly looked down upon by those who think themselves better than you.

Does that makes sense??? I pull up to some fast food resturants and they forget my order when its not busy.

I used to work in fast food. I never did anything stupid like that.

Mean or no, there is a correlation between lower socioeconomic cIasses and poor education. They cannot afford good education, or their home life is inadequate, or their environments (e.g., the "ghetto") are shabby. Then there're the low standards present in our already-poor education system, and there are the low societal expectations directed at the lower cIasses. Every one of these can affect a person's education, and the lower cIass experience it most of all. It's (usually) no fault of their own, but there it is.

If there's a problem with an order, you get up from your rear end and go see to it. Don't expect things to be done for you, even for something as simple and pointless as a fast food order.

There are many who have problems with words and/or numbers, there are those with learning disabilites. The best thing to do is learn patience, don't demand and don't force, just be patient. If the problem continues, offer to help in a calm, patient manner. Not screaming in their face over such a minor thing.

No, but there is a very positive correlation between economic status and intelligence due to the level of access to resources available to different socioeconomic cIasses.

Upper class/richness status does not make one smart. They can be as stupid as those the TC seem to think low class/poor people seem to be in his/her mind. TC seems to equate service from a narrow group of people to determine that everyone who works in that service are lowclass and/or poor. Guess what I know people who were in high-paying jobs and who have degrees working jobs that so-called low class/poor people are what you think are hired for.

Really, the opening comment to this topic is so ignorant that it's beyond offensive and bordering on funny. Put someone who has been pampered by rich parents and enabled by yes-people around them into the workforce with no job experience and they would most likely fail as much as the individual who decides his low class status makes them think they deserve more than what they haven't worked hard to get.

Class status and the amount of wealth one has doesn't determine if they're stupid or smart. Thinking that such things determine people's lot in life makes them stupid.
