I doubt there's any doctors here, but I was wondering if anyone has any idea (no matter how slight) what this is. About 6 months ago, overnight a large lump appeared underneath my left eye, and it honestly just looked like someone punched me in the eye. It didn't go away completely until FOUR months later. And now it's coming back. It doesn't hurt at all. It just feels like a lump underneath my eye. People earlier even asked me "man, did you get punched in the eye?" and I just said yes because I didn't even know what to tell them. It has a black/bruised appearance.

Anyone have any ideas?

a friend of mine had something like that. he had to remove it through surgery, but he said it was real easy quick and painless. just ask a doctor, its probably nothing serious.

I think this happened to me when I was a kid. I was treated for it and it went away quickly and never came back. Tell me, does it feel like you can rest your eye on it?

Stye. They're not all that uncommon. I get one or two a year, mostly when I've been reading a lot.

when you say under your eye, do you mean under your eyelid? Or below your eye?

Sounds like a spider got up into your eye socket and took a clean bite. Go see a doctor.

No, no, no, you've got it all wrong. The spider laid eggs under his eye.

I thought they laid them in your eye and it just expanded to a large lump under your eye?

Wow you're unlucky, getting 2 lumps in the same spot at the same time. :P

The image of that going through my mind disturbs me...
