It's Lynyrd Skynyrd, not Lynard Skynard.
Gimme Three Steps, Sweet Home Alabama, Simple Man, What's Your Name...all great Skynyrd songs.
Tuesday's Gone-Lynyrd Skynyrd
Free Bird (Outtake Version/Demo)-Lynyrd Skynyrd
Sweet Home Alabama-Lynyrd Skynyrd
Because of Guitar Hero 2 I'm in total love of the song Free Bird. Can anyone else suggest any other great Skynard songs to listen to? Dying to know if they have more greats like this.Oyeoyeoye
Once you've finished it 3 or 4 times, you'll never want to hear it again.
The songs I could play all day are:
Hangar 18, Surrender, Jordan, Six and ummm... Laid to Rest (Yeah keep in mind I'm talking about the note charts not the songs themselves haha).

Those are my favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs.

No, but I can barely play guitar. It sounds bad. It's boring because of how long it goes on for. It's just really pointless and kind of offensive to one's ears. In any event, it is not that complicated of a song. It's just long, which is part of why it sucks.[QUOTE="EboyLOL"][QUOTE="guitboxdude25"][QUOTE="EboyLOL"][QUOTE="guitboxdude25"][QUOTE="EboyLOL"][QUOTE="guitboxdude25"][QUOTE="quiglythegreat"]I'm not a fan of four minute solos. It is talent, yes, but only in technical skil. Its talent for the sake of showing off, to me, most solos come off like they've been plastered into the song to make it seem like the members of the band are more proficient, and it adds nothing to the emotion and the involvement of the song

it illegitimize's it because your just trying to be an ass
it does take talent to play a solo that long, maybee it doesnt take a crap load of it,but it does.
i suppose you are the best guitar player in your town, considering you decide whats talent and whats not and such.
dont be amale reproductive organnext time you repsond, thats all i ask.

It's not even that technical, or for that matter progressive. The solo never goes in a different direction, at all. You're right, it is talent for the sake of showing off, but noguitarist (or musician) who cares about creativity in music should appreciate it.[QUOTE="guitboxdude25"][QUOTE="quiglythegreat"]I'm not a fan of four minute solos.
