Is there something I can get for my windows xp that looks like that bar at the top of macs? You know, the white one. I want it. Are there widgets I could use? I haven't found any. I'm trying to make my computer Maclike. Right now I just have a Mac-like Dock.

EDIT: people keep mentioning Docks like rocketdock and object dock. Well, I have both. I just hide the ugly windows XP taskbar. What I want is something like the white bar at the top of macs, not the dock. I already have 2 docks.

What I would like is something that changes the visual style. I know there's stardock's blinds, but that costs money. I also know you can patch this file and just get visual styles from DevArt, but the patching process involves downloading a "replacer" and it just seems dangerous; even if there's no virus, patching a file could harm the computer. I also know of the bricopacks from CrystalXP, a site which has been proven to be trustworthy. I tried getting it once, and my computer crashed only 3 hours later, and I hadn't done anything at that time. I'm sure it was from the bricopack. Anyone else have any ideas?

Search the internet for applications that could change a taskbar.

I'm sure there is something out there.

I've definitely seen it before. I don't know how to do it, but it's certainly possible.

Yeah dude I have objectdock for the dock on the bottom, and I use rocketdock forf olders on the side. I just hide the taskbar since I don't need it for anything. I also hide all the xp icons, so all you see on the desktop is the wallpaper, nice folders on the side, and a nice dock on the bottom, and then there's also a text clock on the top. I tried to make it like a mac bar my putting a white bar type thing on the top of my wallpaper, and then the text clock and date go over that. I'd like more though. Like maybe a nice volume control, or something that is like the bar on the mac.
