We all know how COOL it is to hate on mainsteam music nowadays, but do you make an exception for any song and actually like it? I guess mine would have to be Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, or Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO :P

So what are your guilty pleasures OT?

It's okay if it's their newer album as that stuff is tolerable. Plus Fallen Angel gives off an 80's vibe for me.

Katy Perry. Not only is she undeniably attractive, I also find her music to be extremely catchy.

Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift.. Occasionally I find myself singing some of Kesha's songs.

There's a local synth band called Creekridge Iota that had 11 people at their show last night. That's as mainstream as I get.

Katy Perry is reasonable but i wouldn't say she's a guilty pleasure. I guess my guilty pop pleasure would be YUI or SNSD but they're not popular over here.

Right now, it's "Who Says" by Selena Gomez... Lol, I normally hate songs like that, but I really like this one for some reason. As for artists, I'm starting to kind of like Taylor Swift.

depends, which decade of mainstream music we're talking about here. If it's the 2010's then the answer is none. There is not artist that puts a single shread of talent to good use these days. I hate it all.

None. I don't listen to mainstream music if I can help it.

Most of my music is in the 60's- 90's range.

Hmm... I don't think I have any since I don't mind mainstream in the first place. But I am thinking.

That's a shame, there's plenty of amazing music from the last decade despite some of the more ummm, "questionable" party-esque hip hop music today :P

About half of the bands I listen to are mainstream like Bring Me The Horizon, Nirvana, Black Veil Brides, Deftones etc

But i don't care if they're popular, as long as they sound good to me I'll listen to them.

That is true, but the amazing music from the last decade was not mainstream.

I'm not saying there isn't but so much of it is country pop or rap that I can't stand it. And I was listening to the Rock station yesterday on my way home from work and I heard like 3 bands that sounded the same, not even that great.

And don't even get me started on Nickleback or however you spell them.

I'm not really ashamed of anything I listen to... but I guess Katy Perry does seem a little odd when stood next to my other artists.
