Mainstream vs Alternative

I personally hate Mainstream. Crap like Rap, Pop and Techno.

But alternative is a thing of Beauty.

PS: Older music like Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden or Deep Purple. etc, is considered Alternative in this thread. Same with Hardcore metal. But 80's, 90's pop (Yuck) is still considered mainstream.

Depends on what Tech N9ne is. It's rap, but only one of his/their songs has been played on the radio. What ever he is, I like it the most.

Don't really listen to either I guess.

I like both. I just like music that I think is good and enjoy listening to, it's pretty simple :P

the stuff that most sheeple don't listen to.

Beautiful music. Where you find it can always be a surprise...and I do not know if most of my music comes from either of those two groups :P

Indie is p. rad though.

Good music>Bad music

Liking songs/bands based on how not "mainstream" they are is honestly lame.
