Ok after watching the 4th one I went and watched the 3 before it. In the 3rd one, Indiana Jones drinks from the holy grail and so does his father. SO. If that is true, then why is Indiana Jones so old in the new one? Shouldnt his aging process be slowed down now that he has everlasting life? And also, Indiana's father died from old age! Thats what Indiana said in the 4th one, how can this be? After only 20 years after gaining everlasting life???

Discuss.

Indy is old because you keep aging even if you drink from it (Remember that 700 year old guy guarding it?). As for his dad....

If that is true then his skin would be falling off his body because its so wrinkly.

lol Did you really watch it? The guardian said that you can remain that way only if you are in that room or at a certain range from it.

The Grail has a catch. You have to stay in that place where the Knight is or it won't work.

Maybe it couldn't because it worked only there. Didn't you have to drink from it from time to time to remain immortal?

Because Harrison Ford isn't really immortal? And also doesn't Indie drink after his father in which case his father is not longer the immortal but Indie now is? I don't really know I haven't watched any of them in ages.

The holy grail only works within the cave, past the seal it ceases to work. That's why the knight had to stay there.

Yeah you're totally right. Though the major flaw of the latest Indiana Jones movie is that IT WAS EVEN MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Harrison Ford is so old and or so hopped up on pills or botox or something that he can hardly act. Also it seems like the director told everyone else in the film to UNDERACT to compensate for Ford's horrible acting in this one. The guy is just too old to have made another Indy film. I feel bad but it's true.

The movie was really embarrasing to see.

I'm glad really. I hope people enjoyed it. I really feel bad saying what I said but it had to be said. It isn't his fault. People get old. And it wasn't that he was old that wasnt the problem. It's that his age and or any meds he might be on prevented him from delivering his lines sharply and sarcastically as Indiana Jones.

The knight says the that immortality comes with a price, which is that one cannot cross the great seal. Both Indy and his father cross that seal, so therefore they are no longer immortal.

Lucas wrote it. Spielberg (sp?) directed it.

Lucas didn't write any of them. He co-created most of the stories and produced them.

At the beginning of the 4th one it says Written by George Lucas tho.

Lucas comes up with the stories and the artifact they are supposed to be looking for. The fourth one was written by David Koepp. If I'm not mistaken, during the opening credits it says, "Story by George Lucas," as it has said in all the previous ones.
