Making a video for your kid when he grows up. What would you tell him in it?

Since I grew up in the 80s, In the video that I'll record of me telling my future kid when he grows uip to be a teen or whatever, that I grew up witihi the awesome stuff such as cassette tapes,8 tracks, boom boxes, Aha, Weird Al, Devo, GI Joe, Star Wars, Krull, CHUD, the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies and that a value meal at McDonals in the 80s was pretty cheaper than what they are today.

the world sucks; don't try because nothing you can do will have any impact.

All I know is the end of the video would be me slowly walking away from an explosion. Anything before that doesn't matter.

why make a vid toward him. just make of a vid of the stuff you have in general, and then make sure he/she sees it when the time comes.

the whole making a video for your future kid is kinda creepy if you ask me.

I think it's an interesting endeavor. If done right, it could give the kid a good look into today. My dad's girlfriend found some old film and had it converted onto DVD. In the video, her grandfather is still a little boy. It was a wild look into the time period. (There was no sound, sadly. What I would give to know what they were talking about...)
