Making Money Online - Is it worth it?

So i know of the ways money can be made on the internet. Surveys, Advertisement, Affiliate Marketing etc... Do you guys think it's worth it? Or is it a waste of time?

I'm a student without a full/part time job and would like to know about your experiences with the above money making schemes. I understand these sites do not let you give away figures and such, I was just wondering whether it is worth trying out. Thanks.

Sites like Toluna and CashCrate actually pay out. Problem is, It's around $0.50 per survey and a minimum payout of $20, They pay by cheque to the UK but all the figures are in $ so i was wondering if there is any other ways...

I joined a website that gave you cash to do surveys and stuff, but it was a waste of time since you usually didn't get much cash to matter and you usually didn't even get it for doing the survey. I just ended up using the money to buy a $12 game on Amazon.

probably be better off doing medical transcription or something....

you can get money for hosting files and such. Basically you get an amount for a certain number of downloads. I believe Megaupload does this. Fuhgeddabouditt
