We have 3 foundation stores and I work at one Macys. I have also applied to Sears, which is another foundation store. Is that an issue with most malls? Can I work both jobs?

Not really. I mean, if you can get away with it, then sure, go for it, but almost all major retailers don't like the idea of their employees working for the competition.

Okay, thanks bro. I thought so. I'll obviously have a talk with Sears.

Who's gonna know? If they find out for some reason a few months down the line and don't like it, well then you are a few months paycheck's richer!

Sometimes these jobs make you sign paperwork that says you may not work for the competition if you are currently employed so if they found out you could get fired. Some jobs even have a strict guideline in the clause saying you arent even supposed to shop at the competition. I am not saying its right but sometimes its in there be careful what you sign.

Worst that would happen is one would find out and fire you, but you'd still have the other job.

if you have a job at one you probably won't have time for a job at the other. It'd be no different if those stores weren't located in the same mall.

Personally, I wouldn't work in retail, let alone a mall. *shudders*
