When I first saw a naked girl, I was like "the hell is that?!" and then was affraid of them for few weeks :lol:Crimsader

nudity in itself doesen´t traumatize children, it´s circumstantial. The law is simply there to enforce moral values on the rest of us, which is why laws like these can be passed to begin with, disregarding any actual science being implicated or not.

$20 bucks says that if he had passed by a house and seen a woman in the nude in her own house, he would still be the one getting fined/ arrested.

Not to mention for snitching. Seriously, it seems like people just love snitching. If I saw some guy walking around naked in his house, heck even in his yard, I would just pass by and leave it so.

Should have arrested the woman for being on his property. Next time, he will buy some curtains so no woman will be able to see him in his birthday suit.....

Nope... stuff like this happens all the time here. Our culture is very dysfunctional and silly.

I sadly can only agree:(

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] He's allowed to make his tea naked but he has to make sure his windows are covered.LJS9502_basic

Yes we should all try and make the precautions to stop such a thing from happening, but it's your house. If we allow the authorities to punish us for such things then where would it end?

If authorities don't punish it then how could they stop exhibitionists from exposing themselves to children by standing in the window naked? That is why the law is in place.

I think having the freedom to do what you want in your own home is great, but if I'm parading around in the buff for whatever reason and a window isn't covered, I'd take the time to cover myself up before passing in front of it. He shouldn't be fined or jailed though, considering the circumstances under which he was seen, it's clear he was not doing anything malicious. Not punishing this guy will not impact the ability of police to arrest and prosecute blatant exhibitionists. Always consider the particular circumstances of each case. Big difference between this, and a guy waiting for a school bus to stop in front of his house so he can stand in the window and introduce all the kids to little Elvis.

I'm more annoyed at the woman than the cops. If I saw someone naked in their house, worst case scenario, I would tell them to stop, not rat them out to the Popo.

That's just ridiculous.

Pretty soon it will turn into this:

A man just finished his shower and put a towel on. The towel slid off while going to the basement to get his clothes. A woman spying through the window then called the cops on him and he was arrested.

since when is it a crime to walk around naked in your own house:evil:

you know what if this guy just got out of the shower and realised he didnt have a fresh towel so he decided "hey no ones home i could just walk to the laundry room and grab a towel real quick and dry myself off"

or what if all his clothes were dirty and they were in the washer and drier

Note that if a man had just happened to be walking buy and saw a naked woman through her window, he would be arrested under some peeping/voyeurism charge.

What a complete waste of time and money. I'm from Virginia, so this is particularly disturbing.

It's even more disturbing that "officers are concerned" because he lives across from the bus stop. I guess if you live in the vicinity of a bus stop, you should go into lock down mode every time you want to take a shower, drink a beer, watch an R rated movie/do anything that someone might deem "morally bad" for kids and would sue you for. I'm sure this crazy woman's son is scarred for life because he saw another man making coffee without any clothes on.

-Betta

Thebettafish
lock down mode? just close your blinds/curtains when you're naked like a normal person.

not if it's clearly visible from the sidewalk and street. that would still be exposure. there was an old story about some guy that got fined for watching porn in his living room because it was clearly visible from the street.

i see in this case the women was on his property to see him so i don't see this as a crime.

Keep the curtains drawn if you're walking around naked. Easy fix....legally if you are in view of the public you have to be properly covered.LJS9502_basic

are you sideing with the police on this?

they guy was in his own HOME, not bothering anyone. the lady was the one who trespassed. plus the article said that he had just woken up and was still tired, so ofcourse he probably diddnt notice the blind was open. honast mistake.

honastly its stuff like this that just embareses me. if this was europe, no one give a crap.

If she was trespassing, he should press charges against her. People have the right to walk around naked in their own home as long as the curtains are closed.

I dunno about that but if you look a vid link the window is really small and sort of high, that women was probably more likely the one trying to see HIM. She even went on the say that he was passing other windows.. yet she kept looking? Why would you keep looking if he were doing that?

Poor guy, he has to learn the hard way how screwed up our system can be. Amazing how a trespassing woman can ruin a guy's entire life by looking into someone else's window where he wouldn't have been seen if she wasn't on his property. This one goes up there with criminals suing home owners for being injured while breaking into their homes. Just plain stupid IMO.

We talked about this in my Intro to Computers cIass today... I thought it was pretty ridiculous. I didn't read the article but my teacher said that the man's house wasn't near any other houses and no one would have seen him if they hadn't been trespassing like the woman and her children were.

It's mentioned in this video.

lol "When the cops showed up at his doorstep and confronted him for illegally showing his business..." lol, I love how he says "his business" with a straight face

Edit: Just watched the other video and the mother that complained sounds like a complete *****. Going out of her way to ruin a guys life. Why not just talk to him if she has a problem with him? Typical middle ****subarban mothers. I remember I got stopped by police while walking to my friends house in the suburbs because someone reported me. I wasn't aware it was illegal to walk, in broad day light through a neighborhood. I mean this was a gated community, so it stands to reason, I was there to meet someone considering I was let in by the guard. :?

Meanwhile there are TV ad's with half naked women.

This is so ridiculous, all charges should be dropped and the woman who called the cops should be warned to not waste anymore tax money.
