Do you think Kanye's reaction was justified?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
What was his reaction (nothing else shows up for me in your post)?
If it was:
a) Reverse the tables and show that not only that man's words are harmful, but also ignorant, and attempt to show the man the errors of his ways.
b) Ignore the ignorant man all together
c) Insult the other person back
I think any of the above would be justified, with a and b being the best course of action. Of course being insulted like that would understandably get someone upset so even cursing back at the ignorant man would I think be somewhat justified.
If his reaction was anything to do with assaulting the ignorant man, then no, it's not justified.
In other news, a man called Obama a dickhead today.
I CARE ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT EVERYBODY SAYS
Kanye assaulted a man.
Let me know when Obama attacks someone without a legitimate reason to do so.
I didn't see the video but I kinda guessed it had something to do with assault.

Yes, it would show extreme pettiness if Obama did that. That's the point...
I thought that the complication in regard to embedding the video was due to using a phone. However, I used my desktop and the problem occurred again. Hence, the best I could do was embed the link of the video in text. Sorry, folks.
I personally think the guy deserved the beating. Screw the law. Assholes deserve to be punished.
So if in your world saying something nasty warrants a beating, what punishment does one deserve for beating the hell out of a woman?

Your question implies that violence towards women is particularly heinous, which I disagree with. A women being attacked is no worse than a man being attacked. Be gone with your antiquated ideas regarding gender roles and gender inequality.
It's not appropriate for a grown man to physically attack someone for saying something that he doesn't like. That's simply not how intelligent adults should act in society. It's childish.
There's no such thing as "should" or "shouldn't". Everyone makes there own rules. The asshole got what he deserved. I hope he's missing teeth. Fucking racist prick.

So I take it you think Rhiana deserved her beatdown then, I mean, she might have mouthed off to him and deserved her beatdown.
You are literally an idiot.

Women have big egos nowadays. The beta-male, white knight, female worshiping mentality of today's society has caused women to believe that they can do and say whatever they want, particularly to men, and get away with it. Based on my personal experience with women and based on how I've observed the way some of them act toward men, yes, I do believe some of them deserve a beat down.
I don't know whether Rihanna deserved one, so I can't comment on her case.
@BluRayHiDef: "Based on my personal experience with women...blah...blah...blah"
Weren't you, until relatively recently, a 30ish year old virgin who has never been in a real relationship with women and who constantly gripes about your inability to relate to other people? Maybe your personal experiences shouldn't be a benchmark on which to judge anything.
For starters, I'm 25. Secondly, I've had one girlfriend in my past. Thirdly, just because I've had very, very few intimate encounters with women does not mean that I've never interacted with them before. I'm speaking in regard to women in my family, female dorm-mates back in university, female co-workers, etc. Based on all of this and on eye-witness accounts of interactions between women and other men, I've formed my opinion of women.
Watching the entire video from beginning to end, I could totally see most men having the same reaction even if the N word wasn't mentioned. The other guy verbally insulted and argued with Kim until Kanye showed up to defend her. Legal or not, most men would do the same to defend their fiancee's honor and possibly protect her if the guy escalates from verbal threats.
Also, Kim may not be the mother of the year, but it really says something when people resort to racism in their quest to throw her under the bus. It is one thing to call her selfish, stuck-up, a fake celebrity, or whatever the Kim insult of the day is. But to insult her for her taste in men with racist remarks makes people look petty.
What kind of behavior would get a woman a deserved beat down, blu ray?
Running her foul mouth.
I changed my mind after viewing the video....
I find it funny Kim and Kayne don't like the N-word, but Kayne uses it entirely in his Paris Album with Jayz.
I think the guy was smart - I wish Kayne West beat my ass. I would own him.

Exactly. Luckily in my state walking towards me is enough grounds to lay someone 6ft under.
First off, this wasn't some flare up. Kanye heard that the guy said what he said, then went to his office and assaulted him; he should be arrested and tried for assault immediately. Furthermore, it's lucky that dumbass rapper didn't get shot. Adults physically assaulting other adults over verbal insults is about as pathetic as you can get.
I personally think the guy deserved the beating. Screw the law. Assholes deserve to be punished.
Exactly. That asshole totally deserves the few million dollar out of court settlement being offered to him right now.
Kayne is that word; no sensible person would assault another individual for words, especially someone with his status.
@Fightingfan: The word itself isn't the issue, it is what the word is being used for that is. Black and Latino rappers who use it throw it around as slang while the 18-year old used it explicitly for racist reasons.
Or, he might not be a racist and just saw dollar signs when he put the idea together to combine Kim with Kanye's temper.
Something tells me that if this was almost any other couple people would defend a man defending his woman but because of how much people hate Kim and Kanye people praise the kid who used racist remarks against them.
lol Defending her from what? Those hurtful words? Please. She's not a little kid. She shouldn't need physical defending from words.
