We're supposed to be a liberal state and yet we have this archaic law. This is something you'd expect from the Southern states. I really hope legislators listen.

The only thing that they can debate in court is that neither party gave consent verbally so they raped each other?

Yes, people will engage in sexual apyxiation without serious mental problems. There may be a portion of people who engage in it that have what are called paraphilias, but even then it's nowhere equivalent to rape.
