My religious faith has nothing to do with me belief that this is just weird. :P There is just something about harvesting organs from animals that I do not like. I like to eat them, not to transplant their parts into me.Human transplant ftw, as usual religious groups will condem this thile grabbing for the organs.

It's seriously giving me the creeps too. I think I'd rather my organs grown in a tank.
That Full metal alchemist thing creeped me the heck out when I first watched it.http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23390256-now-scientists-create-a-sheep-thats-15-human.do

That would be more efficient to. Maybe one day..,Animal rights activists fear that if the cells get mixed together, they could end up with cellular fusion, creating a hybrid which would have the features and characteristics of both man and sheep. But Prof Zanjani said: "Transplanting the cells into foetal sheep at this early stage does not result in fusion at all."
that would be awesome
we should seriously try doing fusion maybe we can even do a little dance to help it and say fusion hoAnimal rights activists fear that if the cells get mixed together, they could end up with cellular fusion, creating a hybrid which would have the features and characteristics of both man and sheep. But if watched "The Island", you know they are not really grown in a tank.
That movie makes me so uncomfortable. I just feel so bad watching it.[spoiler]*added spoiler tag* Oh that movie. I remember it, didn't see it though. Scary one? Wait we are going to off-topic here I think. The Island tried to bread organs in a tank, but, they gone bad very quickly. In order to deliever good organ, they actually farm the real human clones and told them the outside world is containminated. Crap, that's one big spoiler to the movie.

This topic should have failed, the article it self said that a half man half sheep cannot happen, by the looks of it that sheep looks quite normal.
I wonder if organ harvesting from genetically altered animals will be met with harsh criticism? The entire concept of creating a life for the sole purpose of killing it and using it's organs sounds crude. Then again that is the meat industry does daily and people simply ignore it. I'm assuming it will meet the same complications that has banned the cloning of humans?
I think the reason why it wasn't in the news is because the source is a website called "This is London". Also most animals have VERY similar DNA. Hell, even yeast is quite similar to us, genetically.
