Yep. I've been in two three-year long relationships, but neither of them worked out in the long run. To be honest, my priorties are no longer focused on relationships (they were much more important to me when I was in my late teens and early 20s). I've come to realize that I have a remarkably busy life, and that it is ill-suited to romance. The only person who could stand to be with me would be someone who is every bit as independent as I am... and with two people with that mindset, a deep friendship is far more probable than romance.

Don't date in middle school. Why?:

You most likely don't make much money

It's pointless, as half the time the relationship are just friends who call themselves boyfriend and girlfriend

The girls "fun parts" haven't even developed all the way

You do NOT want parents driving you around on your "dates"

It is by no means naive. You know as well as I do that turmoil in a person's life (be it good or bad) is the best inspiration for art. I wouldn't say I am any less productive now that I am single (in fact, I tend to be more productive since I have a little more time to write). But I do often draw on the emotions in the bank from those relationships, and I have been known to write music for a particular performer to play with me when I was single... if you understand.:P

Advice for the future: Physical attraction is a must for me considering a relationship, yet I don't need a "slammin' hottie". I just need a girl who is pretty. Nothing like my sig below. Generally speaking I try to aim between hot and "okay" because generally the"OMG! SHE'S FINE" type of girls know they can get just about any guy they want.

However, many people here have expressed an interest in hearing my music, and so if a recording of some of my stuff that meets my standards is ever created, I will post it in my blog.
