The Red Sox management just got tired of him. Well the Dodgers can have fun with him for 1/3 of a season before he takes off to New York or something. At least Bay won't cause so many problems...

I wouldn't say he can't field, I just don't think he tries to field. He isn't the best fielder in the league, but he isn't horrible. Secondly you don't have to have speed to be considered one of the best players in the league. Hitting is the only way you score in baseball and last time I checked if you are a great hitter such as him you make it into the hall of fame. So I think you really need to get a better understanding of what a good player is.

there is no doubt in my mind that manny is a good player and he will def be in the HOF. i was just saying that he is NOT one of the best OVERALL players in the league
