Hey, I'm wondering if anyone else on gamespot is a martial artist. I take Taekwondo and am rigorously training for my black belt.

I train extensively in muay thai and brazilian jiu jitsu. I dont work off the belt system, but I train with my brother, who is a brown belt in bjj and a brown belt in muay thai. Im about at his level now. Ive been thai boxing for 6 years, and doing bjj for about 3 1/2 years now.

I am mastered in all the forms in Wushu KungFu.

I also expertise in Wing Chun and Tai Chi.

I've learned Wushu for 10 years and Wing Chun and Taichi 8 years a piece.

My personal mastered weapons are 3 section staff, broadsword, and stick.

I got my black belt in Taekwondo a few years back. Quit afterwards though which I sometimes regret...

EDIT: Don't quit no matter how hard it gets. I was close to quitting a few belts before black. They showed me the wall of all the belts and said showed how close I was. Just keep on trucking :)

I take Shotokan Karate-Do, Tai Chi Quan, Aikido, Judo (get taught by my mom, she's a sensei for a dojo), and some Shaolin temple meditation arts such as Shi Quan and Ba Ji Quan.

And while I do have belts in Karate, I hate the belt system. It gives un-needed bragging rights to people that just have some black cloth around their wastes. But of course, that is just my opinion.

I did aikido for a couple years but I wasn't interested it so I quit. I wrestle in high school and I think I might start doing some ground fighting stuff.

I have my Brown Belt (3rd Kyu) in karate, hopefully i will have my black belt in the next 1 1/2 to 2 years. Its great doing a martial art, especially when you realise just how many people start and never make it halfway.
