LAS VEGAS -- Let's get right to the point, shall we? When are we going to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight Manny Pacquiao?

As dominating as Pacquiao was in his 12th-round technical-knockout victory over Miguel Cotto on Saturday, the sweat hadn't dried from the champion's face by the time he got his first question about Floyd Mayweather. It was predictable, really. From the moment the final bell rang in Mayweather's one-sided fight with Juan Manuel Marquez in September, fans and media alike were clamoring for a showdown between the two best pound-for-pound fighters in the world today.

I freaking love Pacquiao. He has the fastest and hardest punches of anyone...except for Mayweather. They both are so explosive with their throws, combing both deadly speed and power. Pacquiao has the ability to endlessly throw accurate combos. Mayweather is a one shot counter puncher who has perhaps the best defence ever. I really don't know. They are exact opposite fighters so it will be an awesome fight. I really want Pacquiao to win but I just don't know.

I love the Pac-man but Mayweather is is a very hard fighter to go against. Don't count Pacquiao out easily though, he got Freddie Roach and this energy Mayweather hasn't fought in a while. Pacquiao has shown he can brawl with a bigger man. It's pretty ironic the key strategy for Pacquaio if the fight does occur will be found in the fights Mayweather fought against Hatton and De la Hoya, who gave Mayweather trouble in some rounds. The two fighters Pac-man beat with ease.

I've seen some funny stuff posted in OT but this takes the cake. Mayweather is like a teenage kid on Xbox Live, all he cares about is the stats. He brags about how he's undefeated, yet he hasn't fought anyone credible and the few credible people he has fought, it was after their prime and when they were washed up.

The only reason why Mayweather beat Marquez was not because he was better, but because he was 7 kilograms overweight. That is nearly one category more than he should be. It was an unfair fight. If Pacquiao and Mayweather fight on a same weight, mayweather will lose. He is not really good. He is slow. I havent seen a fight of his that has convinced me.curono

pacquaio can take big hits, i cant see mayweather dealing much damage to pacquaio. Mayweather can counter punch him as many time as he wants, and he wont knock him down. Cotto is alot stronger than mayweather and ive seen those big hits that cotto landed on pacquaio and wasnt able to do much damage on him.. However pacquaio has great speed and strength and foot movement
