Media brainwashing America (that I know of)

to accept homosexuals. Have you noticed this? Even Family Guy has an episode about homosexual acceptance. And it hasn't always been like this, homosexuality used to be condemned and rarely talked about. Now it's out and about, bold. I mean, it's kinda annoying. I don't like being brain washed! But I caught it before it happened. Has anybody else notice this media brainwashing for homosexual acceptance in society?

If you are on a crusade against it you might question why you take a particular interest in doing so.

Not that I'm on a crusade but the people/culture I come from does not find it appropriate. 50 years ago everyone would have agreed.

The fact that less than a century later it has gone from "taboo" to "no prob" makes him suspect that the appearance of tv/mass media has had the effect of "brainwashing" (desensetizing is a better word) people to accept it.

50 years ago people were smoking in hospital bedrooms, colored people had to use a different water fountain, and you could have died from a simple disease. Things change.

It has been the norm in previous cultures before the dawn of television, so I dont think that is totally to blame, but...tv does have some influence on things, but often it only reflects the culture around us, not dictates it. I see your point though.

This I hate. I dont care what happens with them, just keep me out of it. People look at you wrong because your not yelling out that you support them. Say anything different and people will tell you things like, "your insecure" or "your immature".

Why do you accept other skin colors than your own, other beliefs in other people, and the ways people act then?
Jeez, people live their own lives and that should not be your concern. Just ignore it if you can't accept a certain group.

Television only serves as an application to numb peoples' minds down so that they dont do to much critical thinking. I have no problems with homosexuals, but it's not hard to see how comedy shows like the Simpsons/Family Guy/South Park throw refrences in thier shows about real issues and usually make fun of them. and since it's thrown in our faces in a light hearted manner on a very popular show, it somewhat desentizes the population to the issue being portrayed

Homosexual behaviour is recorded as being present in almost all known animal species, including humans. Its pretty much natural.
