Huh? Since when is 5'6 considered short? Isn't that average height? I'm 5'7, and at the risk of sounding slightly narcissistic, I tend to think I'm pretty good looking. I'd much rather be the way that I am now; "short" and handsome than tall and goofy looking. (Besides, most girls I know are either around my height, or more commonly, shorter than me)

Well I'm pretty average looking and tall-ish for my ethnicity now. I think if I were a guy I'd prefer to be tall and average looking. Like someone else said, it's not so bad. There's more average looking than beautiful people anyways, despite what some may think.

The first one perfectly describes me. I'm 5'6 and I don't know if I'd call myself beautiful, but I've had a lot of freshmen/sophomore swooners throughout high school. I HATE being short though. I'd take tall and average looking anyday. I don't have a whole lot of confidence and being short is definitely a contributing factor. I'm still growing, but still.

Being tall makes up for being ugly.

I am 6'4" and am said to be good looking. Frankly I'd rather have average looks than lose my height.
