Let me get this straight. You're in your 30s and you're asking if it's okay for someone your age to work at Gamestop?
If that's the case, then do what you want. I don't think that anyone should ever be ashamed of holding a job, as long as it's honest work. Granted, you could probably do better if you tried hard enough. But if you like it and it gets you by, age shouldn't be a factor. It's work, and that's the point.
Hell, I'm close to 30 years old and I'm a busboy. Sometimes the waiters will ask me what I'm doing being a busboy when I'm nearly 30. And when appropriate, I respond by asking them what they're doing waiting tables when they're nearly 50. I make enough money right now, I enjoy my job, and I take pride in doing it well. That's enough for the moment. The hell with any respect that people might lose for me when they find out that I'm "too old for my job." Fact is, a job is a job, and all employees have the exact same goal...making money. If you like working at Gamestop and they pay you enough money, then go for it. **** age.
Of course, unless you're planning on working at Gamestop forever, I hope you're looking forward and making plans on getting out of that kind of job. But in the meantime, it's honest work that you like, and it helps to get you by while you work on shifting towards something more stable. Go for it.
Just out of curiosity what kind of house do you have living of a bus boys paycheck at 30+ years old. :D

Busboys can actually make pretty decent money. Hell, I've met plenty of old people making less than $10 per hour at gas stations/grocery stores/etc. And while this isn't exactly the norm, it's not uncommon for me to make upwards of $25 an hour as a busboy. Which for my city isn't half bad.

Anyone who puts up with the torture GameStop puts Store Managers and above in, has to have a severe self confidence issue. Granted I took"loser" out of context and made it into the stereotypical definition of loser. GameStop pays squat, with little to no chance to rasing a family on such a salary, has about as much of a career path as the local McDonalds, and doesn't give you anything of value to contribute to society. That's just my take.
