Since neither of them have done anything great since the late 80s.....and since Hetfeild compleatly butchers their older songs wil his voice...........I say meh.....

if you havnt even heard of megadeth , you are not a metalhead. dave mustaine influenced the majority of thrash metal bands with what he did with metallica. and subsequently making arguably the most technical thrash with megadeth, and one of the best thrash albums ever with rust in peace.
also, are these , to quote george bush " rumors on the internetz " ? source please? their was a rumor even on the megadeth forums that their was gonna be a slayer - megadeth tour after mayhem fest, and it lingered around for weeks until dave himself posted and said it was false.

Nah, I'm not a huge metalhead :P. When it comes to metal, I mostly just listen to stuff like Black Sabbath :P.

I'm not saying you're supposed to - but I find it silly if you haven't. Just by being on the forums, it's really really odd you haven't heard of them until 5700 posts later.
id rather see megadeth over exodus, and equal for megadeth and kreator.. but i already saw metallica in december, and wouldnt want to see them again.. exodus is at least gonna play mostly bonded by blood and toxic waltz + shovel headed songs so its gonna be epic. megadeth + slayer + sepultura + kreator CLASH OF THE TITANS 2009 LETS SEE IT

Fairly sure yes, I live in the middle of freaking no were, the closest spot that any good band *might* come is 3 hours away. and since I can't drive yet, I would have to rely on my parents to take me, and since they HATE me listening to teh metal......*sigh*
A Megadeth and Metallica tour would be the definition of epic but I don't see it happening. Nothing involving Dave got put into Guitar Hero Metallica so I doubt they are on good terms now...
That's where I stand, as well. I don't neccesarily like his more recent music, but at least he has been ideologically, artistically and lyrically consistent.
