Some say they're legendary, some say they're overrated. But the question is, what do you think of Metallica?

The first 4 albums are not just metal classics, but just classics period. After that they went down hill. Their last two albums are a total embarrassment. :lol:

First 2 albums are amazing no doubt. The next 2 are good but not nearly what Kill Em All and Ride the Lightining were. Then they stopped caring. Death MAgnetic actually wasn't bad but Metallica is a passable band but not even close to one of the best thrash bands around

I think they are great.

I used to like them alot, though I've grown extremely tired of their music. I don't care much for them anymore. It honestly bores me these days.

Metallica is my second favorite band. I like KEA, RTL, MoP, AJFA, and Metallica the most.

Metallica is what got me into metal.

death magnetic was fine, not amazing, but not bad at all. imo it was forgettable but nothing to make fun of, all nightmare long and the day that never comes were great, especially nighmare long and its music video.. cyanide and almost all the other songs were passable. Yeah, Death Magnetic's songs are forgettable most of the time, like Suicide & Redemption and Broken Beat.

I think they are a band. Have a few songs I do like so they aren't a complete waste but not really my genre.

A few of their songs are fun to play on the guitar, but otherwise they are overrated and kind of boring.

The good thing about Metallica is that their singles or most popular old songs are great.

The problem with them though is that there's only a few good songs on the older albums and hardly any on the newer ones. They're basicly only popular because of their singles and media reception.

I like Megadeth a lot more.

So far Megadeth has been making some pretty awesome albums.

Even though it isn't in the 80's.

I have their whole original discography. I don't think I would underestimate or hate a band that I have that much of their work. If you think I hate metal because I have an opinion that closely resembles that of a lot of logical metal fan just because only a small fraction of Metallica's songs are actually good, you need to get a reality check.

Also, your grammar and spelling needs some work too.

i love em, fav album is Kill em all, own 5 of their albums.Also love a lot of their covers on Garage inc.
