Just heard from several sources that Juarez (yes from GRAW 2) has been abandoned by it's Citizens as the Government have confirmed they have lost control.

Has anyone any concerns or any other news as to why Mexico, being on the border of United States goes unnoticed?

dude, do you know what kind of s**t goes down there, my roommate told me the last summer when he went to go visit his grandmother in Mexico, dudes in trucks with guns came to her front porch, made all them go outside while they robbed the place. The cops are dirty as heck and its pretty bad. The stories he tells me, are crazy. I'm not going to lie if i was living in that environment i would try to immigrate to here also

It doesn't go un-noticed. People have been talking about it for years now. Also its not abandoned by its citizens, almost a million people still live there.

Legalize drugs. Stop this problem in its tracks and save a ton of money while creating legitimate jobs in a multi-billion dollar industry that will lower the amount of illegal immigrants.

I still enjoy Mexico more then America. But ouch, I'll go check it out after the "hype" for lack of a better word dies down.

Oh, it's gonna be abandoned soon. Expect El Paso and other Texas cities to have a huge increase in population soon.

I think you should stop talking out of your a** so much. Jaurez has almost 1.5 million people and it's population has actually increased in the past 5 years. It's not going to be an abandoned city any time in the near future.

Juarez is just ****** up. Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I've heard from people I know stories about the cartels just going into bars and ****, dragging people out and shooting them. **** that.

Calm down, I agree there's always going to be some hysteria but the main reason I brought it up was that from sources (which I am trying to find at this time) according to Bret Baer at Fox News that people were leaving the Juarez, which was already happening and that the Government confirmed they have lost "complete control".

If I find more I will post it, just seriously concerned as to how this has been ignored constantly by some media and the Government (Rep or Dem).

Put a bullet in the head of every single drug cartel member they find. Seems like a good solution to me.

This, unfortunately. Desperate times require desperate measures.

It doesn't go unnoticed, but Juarez is just so out of control...There's little that can be done at this point.

This is why I'm glad I go to Mexico City when I visit Mexico and not the northern parts.

So when is the US going to kick the cartels out and possibly just annex it as the 51st state?

Being from south Texas with several family members in customs.. The Mexico military IS killing the cartel members as they find them. They kill leaders, and theres another rat to take his place. They're too ingrained in the country to just be eliminated by killing members.

If things get worse I wouldn't doubt it. they grenaded a US building as a warning, have had several helicopters fly over US soil, and had a shootout between cartels IN the valley a few months ago.

Why not put a bullet in the head(s) of all the end-users of the 'commodity' that they produce... that would certainly solve the problem also...

Jesus....if that's true, then there's not much more they can do. That is, other than killing the customers, but that would be considered genocide.

Mexico's new president has been doing a REALLY good job thusfar, he cut the crap trying to use the completely corrupted police, and is using nothing but military. Reynosa is REALLY bad right now, they wont even let U.S. customs over there anymore, there was a shootout on the Mexico side of the bridge as people were trying to come into the U.S., the cartels break into peoples houses and take their passports or kill them. Mexico isn't reporting on it, the U.S. isn't reporting on it. There was a citizen in mexico broadcasting stuff on youtube so people would hear about it, and they killed him.

It;s a ridiculous situation, and there are a lot of really good people getting hurt by it
