Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg are the same actors....

They act as the same character in all their movies. Michael Cera did Superbad, Juno, Nick and Norah, and Year One. He played as an awkwardly funny and shy teen in every one of his movies (not a bad thing, I think he's hilarious). Jesse Eisenberg isnt as famous, but he just starred in Adventureland with Kristen Stewart (star of Twilight) playing as the awkwardly funny and shy teen. He is also starring in the upcoming Zombieland, playing as an awkwardly funny (and possibly shy) teen. I'll admit I enjoy this type of humor, but it seems a bit much. What do you guys think?

I avoid those teen 'American Pie' type movies. I got bored of them on American Pie, which I didn't enjoy, and that's a long time ago. They have left that crap machine churning out steaming, curled up piles of turd for a long time since.

Jesse Eisenberg is like michael cera except he has cajones, hes done some pretty entertaining horror movies (like cursed, not great by any means but entertaining) plus zombieland looks like it could be great. the only movie i like cera in was superbad...i love that movie....but i still find his 'akward funny kid' thing annoying.

I dont get his appeal, he needs some diversity. Even actors who tend to play similar characters do something different sometimes, just look at john cusack. He was type cast as the shy and awkwardly funny older teen/ grown up but he has proven to be more than that in 1408.

Because I've never even heard of Jesse Eisenberg before. But I just recently watched the trailer for Zombieland, and I honestly thought that he was Michael Cera.

Agreed. That said, the mere fact that he was a part of that show (and future movie i hope) lets me forgive him for letting himself be type-cast

Funny you should put this up on here. I didnt know who this kid was until now. Anyway, I was watching the trailer to this, and thought to myself that Michael Cera shouldve been cast instead of this dude. It seems as if he's trying to be Michael Cera, but doesnt have his boyishly good looks, lol.

I was tripping out when I saw zombieland becaue this guy reminded me of the guy on superbad and I was wondering this can't be the same guy is it?? are they related or something? I goggled it and many people sorta think the same as in they both act the same, I even goggled this thread so I decided to bump it in I agree, I wonder if they made a movie together how would it be? hmmmm...its sorta cool that they both even sound the same though thats pretty wild.
