Sad news to hear of anyone passing away that young. I didn’t realize she was only 39.

Shame. RIP. Willow she was not. Willow was Buffy's Friend played by Alyson Hannigan. She played Dawn.

Yeah, I guess she had a liver transplant recently. I don't know if they've officially released the cause of death, but, well...sort of makes sense to assume the transplant failed.

Always weird when someone my around my age. I'm old enough where people my parents' age are starting to die and I'm sort of mentally prepared for a lot of people I looked up to or knew in my childhood pass on, but it's a bit of a shock to see people my age die.

I wouldn't say I was a fan, but she was pretty good in the roles I saw her take. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Eurotrip are two examples (she was quite funny in the latter).

I had a co-worker during the pandemic that explained why he was more fearful because as someone with a transplant he has to take immunosuppressive drugs to prevent his body from attacking the transplant organ as a foreign body, and that made him more susceptible to other illnesses because of that. And then we have segment of the population that worships anti-intellectual pseudoscience like a bunch of Nurgle worshippers, yeah, that's gotta he scary.

Here, could be the transplant failed, or could be the immunosuppressive drugs made her susceptible to other illnesses too. And I don't know if you've noticed, people be getting worse about their social responsibilities. People go out in public with flu and Covid like it's not a big deal. People be coming into my work with flu and Covid. I went to a sneak peak of Last Breath last Monday and the theater was packed with people coughing, sneezing, blowing their nose, I could barely even focus on the movie. I'm fine, perhaps because I keep getting my flu and Covid shots whenever they're available to me. When I ask other people though... most don't.

In one of my many stoner conversations I have with ChatGPT I was recalling how a criminal investigatory forensics expert got a bone marrow transplant and afterwards decided to experiment with seeing how his DNA profiled on various types of samples he might commonly look into in his duties as a forensic expert. Turned out quite a bunch of them profiled as the DNA of his doner and not himself. Thinking off that, I asked ChatGPT if it could be beneficial to provide bone marrow transplants to coincide with organ transplants to keep the body from trying to reject the organ, turns out that's actually any area of research ATM, with some successes whereby people can be taken off immunosuppressive drugs entirely. But there's also risks too, like a bad match could make donors cells attack the host, etc; so, more research. There's also challenges. Most liver and kidney transplants come from deceased organ doners. The logistics for this currently doesn't focus on extracting bone marrow, but it is possible to extract it in the same time frame as they get livers and kidneys from the deceased.

Anyhoo, all moot, probably. The country is being taken over by people who practice anti-intellectual pseudoscience and are cutting funding to research and whatnot. Most our experts in these fields will probably take their business to countries that provide grants for such research, like we saw happen after Brexit, UK companies packed up and moved back into EU territory.

Natural Causes is what I heard so had to do with the transplant probably.
