.. one company to go out of business.. which would you choose?Mystery_Writer
tough decision. i think we could exist easier without google even though google is a very admirable company. I dont hate MS either, but I could live without their products.
seeing as the majority of people arent very good with computers people are gonna have to stick to windows or apple unfortunately.

MS has brain-wash the consumer and they are trying to destroy the freeware software .I also respect Google and i too think they were forced in the Viacom issueIm not really anti-microsoft or anything. I just realize that its better that I dont use their OS. But I dont think they brainwashed anyone. At one time windows was awesome(95), they really pushed the standards. Without them, computers/software might not be where its at today. So for that alone people should respect MS. But MS users should either switch or demand better work out of them.
Its okay that they make a very simple GUI for people to use. The only unethical thing with MS is that they create backdoors for hackers. They even got sued by the fbi i think because they actually tailor made some sort of exploit so they could see into the governments computers. I dont remember where I heard that though.
But they arent trying to remove freeware software, or open source or anything. As long as they have development tools on their own platform I dont see how they would even come CLOSE to achieving that.
MS isnt some evil company like people make them out to be. I just dont like what they make.
