[QUOTE="xNJN"] - Moore is not a Messiah.
- Moore is not one the the greatest people who ever lived.
- Moore is not great.
- Moore lies.
- Moore exaggerates.
- Moore does all of his work half-assed.
- Moore is an ass.
- Moore does his documentaries solely for money.
- Moore is a hypocrite.
- Moore will never do a Global Warming documentary.
All Michael Moore does, is point out crap that everyone knows about, gives is 1 or 2 vertabrae and slaps some fat on it (mataphorically). Then he puts his name, his face, and some stupid title and sells it to make money.
The things he points out; Does he really care? Does he motivate people to actually make a movement? No! The guy is a hypocrite; A fraud. Look at his physical shape. Looke at the clothes he wears. He's not a person to take serious because he does not take himself serious. As I said, look at his character.

You are the guy who voted for our last president because he physically looked like he suited the role more than the other guy, right?
Look at Peter Jackson- a fat slob, but he doesn't care about that, what he cares about is his work, and he expects others to only care about that too.
Question- if Moore only ever points out issues that people supposedly already know, why does no one seem to give a crap?! The issues he highlights alone should be enough to make a "movement", beyond just a callous apathetic bowel movement.
How is he a hypocrite? Because he won't "officially" side with any one political party? Because he has no qualms about calling any political individual out over their apparent hypocrisy?
He's a hypocrite because he points out all these known flaws within American society, makes a movie with 1or2 out of the 30 total BS sappy stories, sells his movie, pays his taxes, buys a bigger house than he needs, eats more food than he needs, and watches more tv than he needs.
If Michael Moore made these documentary films, and picketed around and for whatever he feels upset about for 30 days without eating, I'd call the guy a saint. But he's a fat slobbish, greedy American and there's no denying that.
Answer- Moore tries. I give him credit. But he's in it for the money. People watch the film and react as following (and keep it in mind for maybe 2 months) "Oh! How horrid! I can't believe they do that! Oh my!" *Goes back to their everyday lives* They Just-Don't-Care, even the people who are tied in the problems he points out.
Peter Jackson knows he has a talent that can make him MILLIONS, as does Michael Moore. Though Michael's is less of a talent.
I am not American, and no I wouldn't have voted for Bush. I wouldn't have voted for John Kerry either. I would have definately considered Al Gore.
I am 70%Liberal, 20%Conservative and 10%Socialist. What do you call that? A Canadian.
FINAL NOTE: If Moore desired to be more successful he'd: eliminate the crappy titles and give them formal one's, or maybe mix them up: Sicko: A Documentary on the Corrupt American Medical System
*This was cut out*: Also Moore should consider ONLY Lead-writing and Directing. He needs a young good looking trust-worthy face in order to be considered serious. People don't listen to fat slobbish (looking) people. I've studied(ing) Anthropology, Psycology and Sociology enough to know that SMART people would NOT take this guy seriously.
*Edit In* Michael Moore's 'character' in his films is built for the masses. His titles are for the masses. The way he speaks is for the masses. But the masses, even if they cared, wouldn't do anything! They got their own stuff to look after. Michael Moore was part of the masses and at heart he still is.
One day before he was known, he was sitting in his Lazy-Boy eating cheese covered Nachos and thought, "I hate my life, it MUST be someone elses fault. I know!, it's that DARNED government, always scheming us low-lifes. I'll make a film that'll make me money and make me feel better about myself! Yeah!" -years later- "I-NOM need-NOM more money-NOMNOMNOM"
I hate that guy.
