Why wouldn't you have faith in them regardless? weve always liked what was popular, course the majority of artist back then were better but they still did what made the chaaaa chiiiiing at the time period, I don't get why people hate Myley Cyrus, i don't like her, but i don't hate her neither if you want to get mad at anyone get mad at the majority of the teen population for spending money on her, The music industry always keep producing what makes the money, and most kids have no interest in 'music back in the day' because i was one of them, mother used to put on some 50's music or an old tv show and i'd go ewwww that sucks, or its boring! and look at me now! listening to Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr etc.
Umm, look at the way she dresses. I mean Disney is no doubt trying to exploit a 16 year old teenager for millions and at least our youth aresomewhat able to recognize thier attempts. I mean did you guys not see her pole dancing in spandex short-shorts on live television?
I don't think Amy Winehouse was even remotely taken seriously as a public figure by anyone this past year.Is she really worse than Amy Winehouse? I mean, at least you can look at her...

Kanye west is the worst influence he's teaching young black men to interupt white women on stage n ****
lol j/k
I really dont see what Miley has done to anyone. People hate her for no reason at all. Nonstop-MadnessWe all have celebrities we hate, but none of them have done anything to us. For instance, basically everyone here on OT hates Soulja Boy, but what has he done? A lot of people here hate Tom Cruise, but what has he done to you? Nothing, we just don't like what they do. People hate Kanye but what did he do to you? The fact remains that when it comes to celebrities they don't have the same rules as the rest of us. They dont have to do something to us for us to hate them, we just have to hate what they do. So maybe you think Soulja Boy is a talentless hack. Thats a good enough reason to hate him. Maybe you think Kanye is rude and a jerk, thats reason enough to hate him.
Yeah, not a bad influence at all...
.... If a parent links this image some how as the root cause to why their daughter became a stripper.. Well than they clearly failed as parents.I don't think her hanging on a pole is a bad influence i used to hang on poles all the time as a child on the playground and so do young girls, it completely innocent you're just making it sexual with your dirty mind, however you can't generalize all kids as thinking as perverted as you xD.
Now Chris brown beating down Rihanna is a bad influence.
Yeah, not a bad influence at all...

So that justifies it?
The point that I was trying to make, is that the whole event was blown out of proportion. She bent down on a pole once, and now everyone says she is a "stripper," and that she "pole-danced," when anyone who has seen either of the two acts can tell you that in fact, she did not, and she is not. She did absolutely nothing wrong, and like sSubZerOo said, if your daughter becomes a stripper because she saw Miley "dance," then I think your parenting skills need to be called into question. And this is coming from someone who doesn't give a rat's ass about her.Any prove? and where was this?
For some reason thoe i think the internet is to blame... you all know what site i am talking about :P
It's a friggin pole dude, Kids are having sex at ages as early as 8 with or without mileys pole dancing i believe i saw a show on that, that most kids were having sex at early ages, i agree with the above statement if your child is doing something like that, you failed as a parent, if you just let things slide they will escalate, my 11 year old cousin came home with a hickey on her neck, my aunt went off on her, she never came back with one again, but at the same time you can be the best parent in the world and your kids can still turn out horrible, but if you don't try thats even worse, i'm pretty sure Chris's mother taught him not to hit women but he did it anyway, My opinion? if someone is weak enough to follow some celebrity despite being raised correctly by parents? its their own fault and they would have grown up just as weak minded.
I dont even think that is possible.......or realistic to say the leastIt's a friggin pole dude, Kids are having sex at ages as early as 8 with or without mileys pole dancing i believe i saw a show on that, that most kids were having sex at early ages, i agree with the above statement if your child is doing something like that, you failed as a parent, if you just let things slide they will escalate, my 11 year old cousin came home with a hickey on her neck, my aunt went off on her, she never came back with one again, but at the same time you can be the best parent in the world and your kids can still turn out horrible, but if you don't try thats even worse, i'm pretty sure Chris's mother taught him not to hit women but he did it anyway, My opinion? if someone is weak enough to follow some celebrity despite being raised correctly by parents? its their own fault and they would have grown up just as weak minded.

Behavior? She was putting on a performance and dance routine..[QUOTE="XxxExtremeNJBXx"]

I dont even think that is possible.......or realistic to say the leastHitting puberty does not make sex, sex, and yes they do it
Just like having anal sex, doesn't keep a chick's virginity......Oral sex, take your clothes off and do sexual things, its sex.

How? when i just watched a show the other day on the very same topic, boners does not make it sex, engaging in sexual activity makes it sex period, you don't go back from that, you're no longer 'pure', a woman can get her hymen broke surgicaly, is she no longer a virgin? is she no longer pure? no because she's never engaged in sexual activity.
You can't suck people off, and do this and that and still claim to be pure.
however you are free to disagree, several definitions exist for a reason.
