Neuroscientists have figured out how to do that too, albeit in a much more riskier way. What they did was insert electrodes into patients' brains (during brain surgery for another problem). Afterward they hooked up the electrodes to a computer and let the patients play pong with their mind by being able to make the paddle go up by thinking "up" or down by thinking "down".

Misleading topic title...thought it meant something like Yuri from Red Alert, but all it is, is telekinesis via mechanical devices.
