I like the Green Tea, and Ichigo (Strawberry) ones :P. Mochi ftw :). Bass7
It's awesome if it's good. Sometimes I get batches of mochi that aren't good. They are kind of chunky instead of chewey and I hate that. So if you get some mochi that isn't really doughy then you got a bad batch.
Other japanese/asian things that are really good
Dried fish - I know what your thinking, but if you get the right kind (the stuff that doesn't look like fish) it's really awesome. Sort of like a fish jerky.
Red bean - even people that don't like beans tend to really like red beans since they tend to have a sweet flavor. Though the texture is like beans it taste great.
dried Seaweed - yea this will surprise you it's sort of like the healthy alternative to potato chips
anything covered w/ seseame seeds - dunno why but I've always had luck buying stuff covered in seseame seeds.

Yeah, Red Bean Mochi ftw! :P.
Also, the dried seaweed you're talking about is Nori, which is used in Sushi. It comes in a whole bunch of sizes, some for snacking, some for just eating with rice, there's even Furikake which is like nori and some other things mixed together, it's almost like a seasoning you put on rice, and eat it. The big sqaure ones though, are the ones used for Sushi (I believe, my mom uses the big ones when she makes sushi).
