I got so much free s**** in college it was ridiculous. I knew so many bar tenders, chefs, you name it. Mayer Barrett and everyone on the Pabst board were in love with the coffee at the chop I worked at, so I got buddy buddy with all of them. One of the board members let me rent a place from him on the East Side for next to nothing. I schmoozed my way into the good life.

Too bad there's zero culture in Fort Wayne to schmooze. :(
