Mommy why did I sneeze? The sun makes you sneeze billy!

Okay so I walked out of the mall about an hour ago and I hear this little conversation happen between a mother and her child. I found it to be hillarious, I couldnt believe a mother would blatently lie to her child like that about something so silly.

Then a few minutes ago I told my dad about it to try and get a laugh out of him and he told me that the sun does make you sneez when you come out of a dark building or place:?. Soooo now my whole vision of reality is messed up. I had never heard of or experienced this before. Is this a giant conspiracy or just a coincidence?

How come I just learned about this today?!

I though light just made you sneeze in general? Not the sun, whenever I feel one coming on, I look into light and I don't have that annoying delay.. )
