morning smell, what creates it?

you know, when you walk into someone's room in the morning, and they're sleeping. but the room is so stuffy and has that weird smell in it, does anyone know what this is? lol :P

Dry mouth and lack of proper ventilation.

The room wont smell if you leave your door open during the night or if you have a window slightly open just for enough air to get in.

Oh and I guess what creates the smell is due to breathing. I assume oxygen turns into CO2 or something, and without ventilation the air isnt fresh.
