Not entirely related to the top 6 but a certain part of the Deadpool fandom is really starting to get on my nerves. More specifically, Deadpool/Spiderman fandom. X rated stuff. You get the idea.

I once visited a Sonic forum, that was sad, 30 year old guys taking this stuff way too serious. Going in depth making far fetched analysis and calling themselves purists because sonic games are not true to the old ones, still holding the new ones in high regard, the end of the road for some people..
I love how angry people get at this stuff. You know its targeted to exactly the people he is reffering to. In the instance of "steampunk" that is a very over used and overplayed... whatever it is by people. Alot of "steampunk" people probably have no idea what it really is about. I bet the answer to most peoples answer to "So what is steampunk?" they would most likely say "its like future stuff but it looks old, sort of like big coggs, big goggles and yeah, just basically futuristic victorian stuff"... which is complete arse. Steampunk is made up stuff that can do todays and futuristic stuff through the techonology of steam. Its not about wearing stupid boots its about the imagination of what steam power could do from a technological stand point. Same thing goes for "diesealpunk". Its just steampunk has been adopted by a bunch of idiots who think its cool to look like you belong out of some god awful dressing up convention and also to try and prove you are some how more interlectually supperior to people who think "nah I'll pass on wearing on what your wearing...".
I know lots of people like this and god damn they are annoying when they decide to come out and be all high and mighty about wearing some stupid goggles that serve zero purpose.
In no particular order I would go with: Bronies Naruto Twilight Ayn Rand Sonic Fighting games in general The first four because of how obsessive they are with their beloved thing and the last two because of how divisive they are. Individual fighting games tend to have pretty great fans but when it comes to just a discussion of something like "What's better SF or KoF?" or "Are come back mechanics a good thing?" well sh*t, hold on to your hat.

How is my post screaming homophobia? :? Deadpool isn't gay he's straight in the comics, and I'm sicked and tired of seeing those Deadpool/Spiderman pictures. Really it's disgusting. It's not homophobia, it's just one part of the fandom that exists because God knows why.
