Most Anticipated Album(s) this year...

mine would have to be the new Oasis album coming out this year, i heard that Noel hired a 100 piece orchestra for 1 song and another song is apparently 10 minutes long...should be interesting.

i also heard that Metallica is coming out with a new album this year, and that should be pretty cool...not sure of any other cool ones...

on a sort of off topic note: does anyone know when the next rhcp album is coming out? i remember reading somewhere on wikipedia that they are doing another album but that of course it wudnt be nearly as long as stadium arcadium and i cant wait for that.

If they finish it in time for it to come out this year, then Green Day's new album. I can't wait to see what they come up with after the masterpiece that was American Idiot.raver22boy

As for me, my most anticipated albums have to be:

Opeth-Watershed (This band just can't make bad music! There is also a cover of "Would" by Alice In Chain on there!!!)

Earshot-Don't have name yet (4 years after releasing their 2nd album Two, I cannot wait to finally get my hands on this!!! The songs they released for preview have all been great! Check out the song Go)

The Human Abstract (They have sadly parted ways with their amazing guitarist, AJ, but their new guitarist Andrew Tapeley has alot of promise and I simply can't wait to get more music from this band and see if they can follow up well after their amazing first album)

What do you mean? Vol 3 was quite a departure from the first two. Pretty much split the fanbase into two different camps.

Fortress is full of win. Anywho Underoath is supposed to be putting out a live album and a new studio release sometime in the summer so I'm looking forward to that.

Muse is not confirmed for this year. It could very easily come out early next year.
