Most boring thing you've ever had to do/attend?

What are some of the most boring things you've ever had to do or go to? my uncle once dragged me to a convention for stamp collectors. Not just any stamp collector convention oh no "The biggest annual stamp convention in the US!" or so he said lol :P

There was no food, no women, not even any free stuff! thats the whole show, stamps. How exciting lol

he also dragged me to a phonebook convention, yes for people who actually collect phonebooks. And believe it or not they actually have some of those conventions. :lol:

I guess he must have thought his "vintage 1972 phonebooks" were worth showing off

What are some of the most boring things you've ever had to sit through OT?

My sisters high school graduation. Nuff said.

Attend a wedding.

Pretty much anything dealing with church. Also had to attend my cousins' dance concert things once. Got so bored that I pulled out my Gameboy and started to play. My uncle then proceeded to watch me play until it was over.

I had to sit through a 5 hour OLCC class to get my liquor license

A day long boating safety c!ass.

Anything church related. It's so BOOOOOOOOOORING.

Also, any school graduation/awards day ever.

My own high school graduation.

My younger brother's music recital, city hall meetings, my older brother's wedding, and a three day ESL conference my parents dragged me to. There's actually a lot of other stuff too... The worst thing ever though was a 15 hour plane ride from Atlanta to Shanghai, I hate flying so much.

i was draged along with my GF to go on a SHOPPING spree with her and her freinds, did i mention on this SHOPPING spreewe stopped off at the movie theater.....to watch alvin and the chipmunks 2. this may not sound bad but i swear we left at 10:00 am and got home at 12:00 pm, FUN

A 2-hour road trip with nonstop chatting between my dad and his aunt about marriage, health, landmarks, and whatnot. My mom slept through the whole thing; lucky for her, I couldn't, and it was HORRIBLE.

Not just boring but something i just absolutely detest, church... Nothing like being forced into Christianity but atleast unlike a couple hundred years ago i didn't have to die for not taking it up so can't complain plus i was about 8 years old back then.

I had some "Job Shadow" assignment thing, where you go to a person's work (either someone you knew, or off a list of people the school had asked), got them to answer questions, spent at least 5 hours with them, and wrote a paper about your experience (it's as lame as it sounds). Anyway I picked off the list a small business owner who makes, and designs custom T-shirts, after getting the questions answered, I spent the next 4 hours either watching a man make the shirts (gets old after 10 minutes), or watch the woman talk on the phone to people while trying to design a graphic in their exact image, which wasn't much more exciting.

Any one of my lectures on Music Industry Management at university.

Completely put me off wanting to work for a record label.

Stand fire watch/security detail. Any military members will probably agree with me.

I had to sit through a boy to eagle scout graduation/ initiation thing for an old childhood freind.

Man it sucked. It was a couple hours long, had very mediocure food, and there was no one interesting there. (females)

Church, and my cousins (they are young) birthday parties.

Church when I was a kid. I always fell asleep. Never understood why my mom forced me to go knowing I was just going to fall asleep anyways.

Sitting through math class in grade 8. I'm pretty sure that I passed, somehow. It was as if cobwebs were growing in my hair, my saliva had turned to mold and my skin was corroding.

This old professor I had would give these long ass lectures on stuff like clothing production and factories in other counties. And when I say long, long as in 2 hours of just listening to this dude talk with no interaction or anything. Sometimes I just felt like walking out but I didn't wanna be disrespectful :|
