Any movies shocked you as much OT ? :)
Wolf of Wall Street but I found it disturbing in a good way. It had a little more t&a then I expected.
The most disturbing movie that I've watched (also one of my favorite movies) is Pan's labyrinth. I was looking forward to a fairy tale but then there were all these torture scenes and people dying scenes and man that ending... That was heavy... Also the departed.

I remember seeing Pan's Labyrinth in the theater and an old lady was really shook up by the ending and sobbed hard like for 10 straight minutes, I thought she could suffer a heart attack :(
Let's see:
-Se7en
-SAW movies
-Silence of the lamb
There's also this Canadian film I believe called incendies. Now that was profoundly disturbed in a very deep and overwhelming way. I highly recommend it to anyone that is willing to experience human depravity and viciousness.

Excellent movie; it was indeed a great and worthwhile watch. The scene when the girl goes to the den of that monster to pick up a key I think was gruesome. I mean that monster was so fucking grotesque and quite eerie O_O
Suppose I'm meant to say Human Centipede and A Serbian Film but they were most enjoyable and satiated my morbid curiosity. And the opening scene of Begotten but that was more satisfying to me than disturbing.
So....¯\(°_o)/¯
Faces of Death but I knew watching that that it wasn't going to be pretty
Your not kidding, that was three fvcked up movies.I think most people would not be the same after watching those films.I think here in Canada,Faces of Death are illegal. Not sure.
The divided. I couldn't see the point in the whole story and only watch it because it was meant to be about end of the world.
A Serbian Film
Cannibal Holocaust
I had never heard of this and just read the synopsis...it's sounds ridiculous.
A. Why would anyone want to make such a film?
B. Why would anyone want to watch such a film?

I could never look at monkeys the same way after seeing that first movie :(
-Oldboy (Amazing movie though)
-Inside (and not in a good way. God awful film that I seriously regret watching)
-I Saw the Devil (Badass movie but some messed up stuff in it)
-Saw series (Liked the first 3 movies but the series really went to shit.)
-Oculus (Was surprised at some of the messed up shit in that movie. Solid movie though!)
No Salo anyone? Caligula? Tetsuo? C'mon guys.
Oz, a mere HBO show, is significantly more disturbing than a lot of the entries in this thread. Guess I don't mind a graphic depiction or two. A Serbian Film is pretty gross though, it's definitely something I don't really feel like I'd ever watch. Also, Cannibal Holocaust is a pretty cool movie with absolutely awesome music.

Actually, I had a friend a while back that told me about Salo, he said it was the most disturbing film he'd ever seen. I haven't seen it yet... I'm curious but also frightened to watch it from what he told me.

I actually watched that, with a buddy, not knowing anything about it beforehand. I'm not really a big horror/gore movie fan.
I forget the Title but the one with the Japanese girls Jumps on the railway station

Weeboo, confimed =P
Theatrical probably" the exorcist". Not when she goes all monster face and shoots goo but the creepy atmosphere before it with the pazuzu presence in the background.
It looks really amateurish now but the scene with Ellen Burstyn in the kitchen with Pazuzu head flashing freaked me the **** out when I saw it.

I forget what it's called but it is about some lunatic who thinks he is some alpha superhero cool guy. When in reality he's this weird psychopath who brutally murders and rapes people in some building.

Eraserhead
Irreversible
I guess Nymphomaniac volume 2 could get a spot but that's because I seen it recently.
I'm sure there is more I seen but those always come to my head when I hear disturbing movies.

I thought I was the only one that freaked out at Pan (remember the scene where they cut off the guy's leg?)! And that ending................. But D Jones was wonderful as the monster with the eyes on the end of his fingers. Really creepy though.
Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I was freaked out for a long time at that one.

Ah totally forgot about that movie! Weird as movie there...
Here's the train jump scene for those who are interested!
@TheFlush: I immediately thought of a 'interiur when I saw this thread. all these other movies people are listing is pansy ass bullshit compared to Inside. There's also Martyrs, which is insanely fucked up even as its extreme violence peters off in the second half, and I Saw the Devil, which is pretty damn messed up in just about every way.

The Cannibal films initially were an extension of the "Mondo" film phase that was becoming popular by a Western society increasingly interested in the extreme behaviors of other cultures; some staged, some factual, but exciting to the senses in an either titillating or a so awful but I just can't look away aspect.
Cannibal Holocaust is basically just attaching a narrative to many of these mondo aspects but it greatly upped the ante by deliberately misleading folks into believing it actually happened as filmed in an early found-footage type of angle. Lost in all the extremenessness (much like Salo and The Serbian Film) is the fact that the film is attempting to overtly stress the message that Westerners are often arrogant and destructive towards cultures they deem as beneath them and that Western society and the media in particular gleefully feeds the public's desire for violence as entertainment.
Also by modern standards it's not really as extreme as its reputation suggests...sorta like old school Italian zombie films.
Oh! Also for those speaking of Suicide Circle I wonder how many of you have seen its prequel Noriko's Dinner Table? It's wonderfully perverse in its interpretation of Buddhism and many social aspects modern Japanese life.
