A $100 entre at Emeril's Steak House in Vegas. :cry:Pirate700My girlfriend spent a whole day with him at a Whole Foods for some Discovery thing. Damn, I hate being sick. My spelling has been atrocious, and I'm barely even paying any attention to what I'm saying.
my grandma took us all to the borgata in atlantic city and we got steaks that cost 150$ each or 200$ for 2 :?BladeOfHeavenWas it good?

Also a french dip for 30 bucks, not incuding other things I needed for a meal. I guess it's because it was room service. Meaning I also had to give a tip.martialbulletfrench dip isn't worth more than 8 bucks >_> You got ripped off.

Actually, it was the best french dip I've ever tasted!!
It was quite big and very well made. Not your typical fast food french dip....
Yeah, it's bit more than I should have payed for, but my options were pretty limited.
Nods. Still, it being bigger and better definitely increases its cost. I've revised my value to 15.00.Yeah, it's bit more than I should have payed for, but my options were pretty limited.

Well I also got to keep those minature Ketchup and Mustard bottles and that cloth napkin it came with. I'd say 17 :P
Although I don't know If I was supposed to keep that napkin
At those prices, I can't help but say, "yes".Although I don't know If I was supposed to keep that napkin

Meh, I dunno.
Had several $80-$100 plates. And many meals ranging in total from $150-250+.
Those were the days I was ludicrously wasting money. Nowadays I am happy with a Totino's or perfecting my brat grilling technique. I feel like I get so much more out of it.
I'm gonna be honest. I hate eating out. Be it expensive or cheap.Meh, I dunno.

Same here. Fast/snack foods I'm fine with, but I hate going to restaurants.

It was SOOOO smooth. Way good. I wasn't paying that day, but if I could I'd pay that much to have it again. I'm not even a bit steak fan but dang.

As do I.
I thought I was really into it for a year or two and made the rounds at all the local upscale places but then one day I woke up and had enough.
Thus, I retired to my grill and microwave and have been happy ever since. Things are starting to get serious between us.

Damn. If I hadn't eaten 3 pounds of steak that I cooked in the last 2 days, I might actually be tempted to find an expensive steak to eat.No frying pan? Those are necessary for sauces and stir-frys :o Also, I made some amazing eggplant discs last night. Not sure what else to call them. They had some searing flour powder on them, and a bit of salt and pepper. Delicious. Thus, I retired to my grill and microwave and have been happy ever since. Things are starting to get serious between us.

whoa....This leads me to ask what restaurant that was, but nothing in my bank account could get me a meal there.

Been staying away from the fryign pan. Usually means grease of some type to clean up. I have been leaning towards casseroles as of late. Dollar value right there.
First and only time I had eggplant was on vacation at a resort where they mass produced the stuff. My bro-in-law begged me not to try the eggplant parmesan if it was my first time but I did. And you know, it was eveyr bit as horrible as he said it was. I need to muster the courage to try it again. I am eggplant scarred !!
