Right now, 16-17... last year of high school and I'm stressed to the max already. Juggling school, work, soccer and a boyfriend is proving to be difficult.

When I was probably 16 or 17. I didn't like my highschool at all and because I was slacking I had to study really hard to graduate. (but luckily I made it).
But what was worse, I was a closeted homosexual back then and there were a couple of girls that were interested in me. I just didn't know what to do, because I didn't want to do anything with them. But I also didn't want anybody to find out I was homosexual. That was really stressfull.
Looking back though, I have to laugh about it, coming out was such an easy thing to do, I just didn't notice when I was 16.
Pretty much the same as when I was in secondary school (school for ages 11-16 in the UK) unfortunatly my shyness was seen as cute by a few girls so I did get asked out a few times where I then had to make BS excuses as to why I turned them down. When I was probably 16 or 17. I never really had a coming out, my parents just asked me if i was gay and I told them the truth.

Haha, I recognize that! I was 19 when I came out, I knew my family would support me, so I don't know why I've kept it a secret for so long. Anyway, it was new years eve 1999/2000 and I was with my parents an brother at my aunt's and uncle's house. My whole family was there, all of my uncles, aunts and cousins. When it was 2:00AM I told them that I actually really wanted to see someone special. I wanted to see my boyfriend (he had been my boyfriend for 6 months already at that time), so I told my complete family that I was gay (talk about efficient haha). My brother and cousin drove me to him and the next day my boyfriend and I went to visit my parents. All was good of course :D

What did you do to make them ask you if you were gay?Parents usually just know ;)
I just went through something similar and only started getting help for it 6 months ago. I never understood how people could be so down on themselves that they wanted to end their own lives before this crap started but now I know all too well. Thank goodness for my loving/supporting family and my therapist. When I was 18. My struggle with depression had reached its pinnacle and I felt like life wasn't worth it.

The most stressful time in my life was when i was around 15(im 25 now) and everyone hated me at school, i dont know why, i guess i was just a target for bullys. Anyway i did some pretty bad things to try and block out school from my mind, things that i really regret today.
2 years a go when i was 24,clinically diagnosed depression plus lots of other problems made that year the worst year of my life...sofar.
My guess would be late 20's through your 30's since you are starting your career or trying to atleast and most likely married/in a relationship possibly with kids. xXDrPainXxYea im worried if i pursue a career and it starts going downhill and not working out, i would be stressed the hell out.
18-19
Former girlfriend and I split and I was working full-time while going to school. I was really depressed and felt like my life had no purpose or direction.
NOW !!!
I had lotsa money back then , but that"s all gone ...
now at age 39 i have to work for minimum wage .
oh well ...
probably ages 3-14; as one gets older they should learn how to handle, and reduce stress all together. If ones life is becoming more stressful, it's mismanagement on their part.
I'm 17 right now and I've got the opposite. The school I got to is really easy and doesn't have homework, I don't have many friends/girlfriend, and I can't seem to get a job anywhere. Very dull life.Right now, 16-17... last year of high school and I'm stressed to the max already. Juggling school, work, soccer and a boyfriend is proving to be difficult.

I say right now. I am Juggling Part-Time college with a job that requires me to work graveyard shifts (as well as other odd hours), and I am the manager of the department, so that adds stress (though it pays much better than flipping burgers and provides a backup career). I feel like as soon as I finish up my degree, and get a job in my dream field then my stress level will go down.
prob 15-16 i had some health issues and overall school and social ones that didnt turn out too well.
Also 2006 Pride Grand Prix was pretty stressful.
Stress from vija-games can kill, you know.To be honest I tend to have a positive view of life and I'm almost always happy unless video games stress me out. :P

It's true, vija game stress can kill... other people, when you throw your controller at their head :P
I know a lot of people will say that having kids and trying for promotions and struggling financially are where it's at stress wise, but I'm going to have to go with 6th through 12th grades. A bunch of fake people all trying to be popular while attempting not to be socially awkward and getting picked on. And that's not even taking into account other social circles, groups, and cliques. It's a rough jungle out there. I'd much rather work 50 to 60 hours a week, have 3 kids, and struggle at times. At least I'm real and know who I and my friends are.

They can, but I just shout "****ING BROKEN" or something then I'm fine afterwards!
16, I'd never want to go back to those dark daysDarthkaiserWhy was it so bad?
16 was probably the best age of my life. Left school which I hated and started college which is a lot better, made new friends, came out of the closet, I pretty much got my life sorted out (relative to how I felt before).
posts like this really encourage me. I have hated high school so far and am really hoping It's not like this my whole life.I know a lot of people will say that having kids and trying for promotions and struggling financially are where it's at stress wise, but I'm going to have to go with 6th through 12th grades.
