Well to be fair...they weren't underrated or forgotten.
I'll say Psychedelic Furs...very good band from the 80's.
[QUOTE="DFan17902"][QUOTE="LostProphetFLCL"]MACHINE HEAD!!!
Best thrash band around yet so few people know about them!!!
mmogoon
They're not Thrash.
I beg to differ..they were thrash
Their really old stuff was Thrash. But they're Groove now. I've listened to them for a few years and seen them live... not Thrash.

Well, Groove is also called Post-Thrash, so whatever floats your boat. :wink:
They aren't thrash (or even close) and they aren't forgotten. They are played on Sirius all the time. :|I think of them as thrash.

Exactly. (well, they are close-ish to Thrash)
Ok, then they are speedish, but not thrash.
I will say Joy Division and Blue Oyster Cult.RedgarlCare to elaborate on how BOC is forgotten? I don't know anyone who doesn't know them.

Well, here it's not aired at all, I only heard Don't Fear The Reaper once on radio.
If you know 70's rock, you will probably know them, but if not, forget it.

Try if you know music in general. They play BOC on all the local classic rock channels on terrestrial and Sat Radio.[QUOTE="Redgarl"]Care to elaborate on how BOC is forgotten? Like I said, for peoples digging any 70's rock, yeah they are, but don't tell me that anything after Agent of Fortune got any real impact, because it didn't.

If you're going to limit it to a decade/genre then you can say that about any band since there are millions of people that don't listen to that decade/genre. Nonetheless, BOC is played on the radio today.

That's what I said, BOC is forgotten. It's not Rush or ACDC. The first time I heard about BOC was at the end of this movie.

I like to call it post-thrash instead of groove. Just can't call Lamb of God "groovy".
