most unlucky year ever

1.first my TV died

2.a once friend became a smack rat and stole my MGS4 and assassins creed,this event was avenged

3.then my lung collapsed

4.then collapsed another 5 times in hospital

5.caught a blood infection,wound got infected were chest drain was put in,got fluid build up on lung and caught MRSA and was diagnosed with marfan syndrome

6.kicked out of hospital with lung at 50% capacity til MRSA cleared up

7.got fined by virgin as while in hospital i didnt have enough cash in bank to pay internet bill

8.had to cancel my download ticket as i was in hospital

9.had to cancel my Blind guardian ticket as ill be in hospital having op

10.was dumb enough to pay to see terminator 4 and missed watchmen on big screen due to hospital

11.got attacked by a rabid cat and had my arm tore to pieces.

12.got food poisoning from some bad fish

13.my fallout 3 save corrupted at 60 hours

14.And by far the worst of all I just lost my transfer cable for my camera :)

So how your year been so far?

I found a quarter behind my couch... I guess it was a pretty lucky year.

Maybe you're just getting all your bad luck out of the way now.

I'd usually say something a long the lines of "Blog it." But man, I feel sorry for you.

Only two crappy things occured for me this year. I'm out of work and my mother went into a coma 3 AM on Friday. The smoking finally killed her, just like it killed her mother. Same way. Lungs couldn't circulate enough oxygen to the brain then finally she went into a coma. She's on life support now but I'm sureit's just a procedure to indulge hope. I know she will be unplugged in a day or two. This didn't happen over night. The brain damage from oxygen deprivation is just too severe to recover from.

having a lung collapse isnt fun at all let alone 5 times! geez. i had mine collapse about 2 years ago now, and the pain from when it happen still occors occasionally and i think it happened again, but i just ignore. may i ask why yours happened? mine happen because i am a tall skinny male and for some reason that means little blisters formed on my lung and one popped making air escapse onto the other side of my lung. so basically it can happen again to me but next time i wont have a tube sticking out of the side of my chest, but they will put something down my throat into my lung to get rid of the blisters. not fun.

- Brand new jeep gets totaled in car crash

- Sister sent to hospital due to dehydration

- Moved away from friends/family

- My own aunt gave my family a pie that was poisoned

- Identity theft

- Dad feeds my family a fruit from our tree in the backyard that was infected with a virus

I'm Emotionally/Mentally becoming more unhinged by the day which isn't being helping my physical health which I can feel getting worse.

I just ate a fruit-roll up.One hell of a year.

I am sorry to hear some of you have to go through such horrile things though... I wish you the best of outcomes :)

im tall and skinny like you said and i also have marfans syndrome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marfan_syndrome which was only just diagnosed and it something that you want diagnosing as young as possible(im 21)

i go into hospital again on the 14th to see if im fit for surgery and if so they'll open my chest and remove the top layer of skin on the lung and applie talcon powder(the nice smelly stuff you put on after a bath)

At least one good thing came from going to hospital,i finally got around to playing crisis core and my mate borrowed me god of war :)

And yes it is painful like you said,what i hated most is because i was controlling my breathing and managed to walk to the ambulance with dignity and my sat/stats (not sure what they said) were at 90 they didnt think my lung had collapsed.They said it should have been at around 70 at heightest.So i had to wait 3 hours for a X-ray with no pain killers and then they saw that my lung was 100% flat.

They stuck a pump in and pumped 5 litres of air out and then my lung popped again and again they didnt believe me til another x-ray a hour later

Then they screwed up putting the drain in twice and nearly flatlined me as they stabbed my heart and lung with the tube

How did she get dehydrated?weather,sports or just unlucky?is she ok now?

least now days we have the internets but it still sad when a friend moves away,I lived in same house all my life but i said good bye to many a friend who has moved :(

I lost my job 3 months ago. trying to put a positive spin on things though, having a break, being able to stay up to watch the IPL, Wimbledon and the best thing to come.........The Ashes!!!

I'm very to sorry to hear about the TC year though, I hope things improve

i was in a stable condition and they couldnt operate as it would get into the wound and do real damage,so they gave me some meds and sent me home,so i had a lung at 50- 80% capacity since good friday,i got transfered from 1 hospital to another as my lung healed before fully inflating and so had to be reinflated.But this is a rare op and the hospital didnt have the correct equipment so i was transfered.Then i caught MRSA and they didnt have any quarintine areas left so got sent home until infection cleared up.sucks because i was being moved to the op room when the Anaesthetists noticed my wrist bend further than 90 degrees amoung other things and pointed out i might have marfans.So they delayed op while they found out and then got MRSA while waiting for op to be re-organised.But hey it a free service so it not like i expecting 1st cla-ss service. PS why the hell is cla-ss still a forbidden word?surely glitchspot have clicked on to it being blocked by now
