Most Valued Possession(s)

Out of the items you own, what do consider to be the most valuable to you? It can be something sentimental, something you are proud to own or have assembled or something expensive, whatever it is list it.

For me it's two items.

• The first is my grandfathers WWII awards and decorations from when he served.
• The second is my book collection/library which I have slowly been assembling. It's mostly books related to U.S. history, WWII, military history and philosophy. It's nothing substantial but I am proud of it :P

My parents are always there to help me with whatever I'm having trouble with, and I'm very dependant of my friends (someone to talk to) because I hate being by myself in places like malls, and at school. Unless I have my laptop/iPod lol

Probably my PC. I spent a lot of money on it and have put a lot of time into it since I built it

My dogs, if you consider them possessions. As far as inanimate objects I will say my photo albums. It's the only thing I own which I can't replace

my opa gave me his chess board, it is only soap stone and only 80 years old but i will keep it in mint condition for him. my house, and my dads guns. all are about on the same level of importance to me.

Strange - I posted a blog a while back with the exact title. Anyway, it is this egg that my dad made that he gave me the last time I saw him alive. (He died in an accident - it's not like we knew that would be the last time we saw each other). Full story in the blog if you care.

a red matsumoku skylark guitar. my grandparents got it for me when i was 15 or so and it was one of the reasons i really got heavily into music. i don't have a whole lot from my youth y'know but i managed to hang on to that guitar. it still sounds and plays beautifully all these years later and always reminds me of good times.

My cat. All that other junk we own could be replaced easily enough.
