"Dieu et mon droit" is French for "God and my right". Isn't it ironic how the UK's motto is in French seeing as how they hate each other (supposedly)? Correct me if I'm wrong. To the Brits on GS, what language would you rather the motto be in and what should the motto be?Aznsilvrboy

According to your link, its apprently the motto to the British Monarchy, which would make sense since as already pointed out in this topic, our Kings and Queens have French ancestory.
