[QUOTE="HeebsDizzle"] Dude we get it, you dont like Terminator.
They sent back the 2nd terminator in T-2 because it was the only one they could get their hands on. Thats simple enough dont you think?
I find it hilarious that you glance over the fact that humans are fighting machines in the future, have time travel capabilities, and that someone can turn into liquid metal...yet the fact that the terminators look the same takes you out of it. Robots are not unique, nor do they have much of a concept of it. I can live with the fact that they've got a few models that look simliar.

No, the point is... In anything you manufacture you have a series then models. If you have a model 101 that means you have atleast 100 other models in that series. So why do they keep encountering the same model? Same series same model everytime.
Since the T-1000 series can change it's model via changing form it's only manufacured in one form. Same goes for the TX. They're universal. No need to design multiple exterior flesh.
The time machine is silly but why couldn't they make a machine that can manipulate all polymer? We do it. We liquefy ploymers shape them and re-solidify them. The gist of it is the T-1000 can manipulate all polymer weather it's metal or plastic or fabric. Even living things. If nature can make living things from liquid I don't see why an intelligent machine couldn't do the same.
My suggestion would be that the resistence keeps sending back the same ones, because they aren't the ones making the new terminators. They can only send what they capture...and I doubt they are capturing the T-1000s and reprograming them. Also, in T1 they showed a T100 taking down a number of humans in the future (It was either a flashback or a dream) and it looked different from Arney so maybe they had two models.
Either way my head hurts. To each his own, I thought the series was good, and T3 was OK but could have been better.
